Il Comitato Esecutivo (CE) della FIG si è incontrato in videoconferenza il 15 maggio per seguire la situazione causata dal Covid-19 ed il suo impatto sugli eventi di Ginnastica.
FONDO DI SOLIDARIETA'
La FIG istituirà un fondo speciale per supportare gli atleti affetti dalla pandemia e le federazioni nazionali colpite dalle ripercussioni economiche della crisi. Questo fondo di CHF 400,000 sarà gestito dalla Fondazione per la Solidarietà della FIG. Le procedure per richiedere una sovvenzione ed i criteri di eleggibilità saranno definiti e comunicati presto. Lo scopo è che si possa fornire dell'aiuto, senza ritardo, a chi ne ha più bisogno.
Inoltre, tutti i membri delle federazioni FIG saranno esentati dal pagare la loro tassa di annuale per il 2020 - il che rappresenta un ammontare totale di CHF 120,000 per la FIG.
CONGRESSO 2020
Come deciso nella precedente riunione di aprile, il CE, ha nuovamente discusso a lungo delle possibili opzioni per lo svolgimento dell'83° Congresso e le elezioni previste per ottobre 2020. Il CE ha concordato di valutare ulteriormente le varie soluzioni e di prendere una decisione il 15 giugno.
Nel frattempo, il termine per la presentazione delle candidature o delle registrazioni provvisorie rimane il 20 maggio 2020.
ELEGGIBILITA'
Visto l'annullamento di diverse accademie di livello 3, il CE ha deciso di accettare provvisoriamente candidature per le posizioni nei comitati tecnici di candidati che non avranno partecipato a un'accademia di livello 3 entro la scadenza del 20 maggio 2020. Tuttavia, la loro federazione dovrà impegnarsi per iscritto alla partecipazione del candidato ad un'Accademia di livello 3 entro una certa scadenza. Questa decisione del CE rimane soggetta all'approvazione del Congresso.
EDUCAZIONE
Come parte della strategia per ridefinire e modernizzare i programmi educativi della FIG, il CE ha accettato di investire nello sviluppo di una piattaforma di e-learning. Questo progetto aiuterà a integrare i vari contenuti e strumenti in un sistema e renderli più facilmente accessibili. Dovrebbe inoltre consentire la riduzione dei costi di organizzazione e partecipazione per le Accademie e altri corsi e quindi consentire loro di soddisfare meglio la crescente domanda di questi programmi. Si prevede che la prima fase del progetto sarà attuata nel 2021.
CAMPIONATI DEL MONDO JUNIOR 2021
Il CE ha deciso che non si svolgeranno i Mondiali Junior di ginnastica ritmica o artistica nel 2021, per evitare di sovraccaricare il calendario 2021. La seconda edizione di questi Mondiali sarà poi programmata per il 2023.
REGOLE DELLE WORLD CUP
Il CE ha approvato:
- Le modifiche necessarie apportate alle attuali Regole per le serie di Mondiali All-Around in ginnastica artistica a seguito del rinvio degli eventi a Stoccarda (GER), Birmingham (GBR) e Tokyo (JPN).
- Le modifiche apportate alle regole per la serie di Coppa del mondo di attrezzi 2021-2024 in ginnastica artistica.
- Le regole per la Coppa del Mondo Serie 2021-2024 in ginnastica acrobatica.
PROGRAMMA ATTREZZI DI GINNASTICA RITMICA
Seguendo il rinvio delle Olimpiadi di Tokyo, il CE ha approvato un cambio al programma attrezzi. Gli attrezzi usati negli esercizi di gruppo senior saranno per il 2021 gli stessi del 2020.

The FIG Executive Committee (EC) met by videoconference on 15 May to follow up the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Gymnastics events. You can find below the main decisions and information that came out of this meeting.
SOLIDARITY FUND
The FIG will set up a special fund to support athletes affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and national federations hit by the economic repercussions of the crisis. This fund of CHF 400,000 will be managed by the FIG Foundation for Solidarity. The procedures to apply for a grant and the eligibility criteria will be precisely defined and communicated soon. The aim is that some help can be provided, without delay, to those who need it the most.
In addition, all FIG member federations will be exempt from paying their annual membership fees for 2020 – this represents a total amount of CHF 120,000 for the FIG.
2020 CONGRESS
As decided at the previous meeting in April, the EC has again discussed at length the possible options for the holding of the 83rd Congress and the elections that are planned for October 2020. The EC has agreed to further assess the various solutions and to make a decision on 15 June.
In the meantime, the deadline for submitting candidatures or provisional registrations remains 20 May 2020.
ELIGIBILITY
Given the cancellation of several Level 3 Academies, the EC has decided to provisionally accept candidatures for positions on Technical Committees from applicants who will not have participated in a Level 3 Academy by the deadline of 20 May 2020. However, their federation will have to commit in writing to the candidate's participation in a Level 3 Academy by a certain deadline. This EC decision remains subject to the approval of the Congress.
EDUCATION
As part of the strategy to redefine and modernise the FIG’s educational programmes, the EC has agreed to invest in the development of an e-learning platform. This project will help to integrate the various contents and tools in one system and make them more easily accessible. It should also enable the reduction of organisation and participation costs for the Academies and other courses, and therefore allow them to better meet the growing demand for these programmes. It is expected that the first phase of the project will be implemented in 2021.
2021 JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The EC has decided that there will be no Junior World Championships in Artistic or Rhythmic Gymnastics in 2021, to avoid overloading the 2021 calendar. The second editions of these two World Championships will therefore be scheduled for 2023.

The EC has approved:
The necessary changes made to the current Rules for the All-Around World Cup Series in Artistic Gymnastics following the postponement of the events in Stuttgart (GER), Birmingham (GBR) and Tokyo (JPN).
The changes made to the Rules for the Apparatus World Cup Series 2021-2024 in Artistic Gymnastics.
The Rules for the World Cup Series 2021-2024 in Acrobatic Gymnastics.
RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS APPARATUS PROGRAMME
Following the one-year postponement of the Tokyo Olympic Games, the EC has approved a change made to the Rhythmic Gymnastics apparatus programme. The apparatus for the senior group exercises will be the same in 2021 as in 2020. |
