CITAZIONE A few weeks ago, one of our best rhythmic gymnasts Katherine Taseva announced at the auction its only gold medal from the World Cup so far - that of the tournament in Sofia in 2018, as well as the clubs with which it won. In order to help the operation and recovery of Ivan Todorov, who needed intervention to save his leg. Then Katya did not even question her actions, she announced the medal at a social networking auction, and ... the phone calls and messages came down minutes later. Dozens of good people responded to her request and wanted to help Ivan, who had already been operating in Istanbul and returned home to recover.
The tale of good, however, is not over yet. Today, in the TV studio of BTV, the presenter of the 120-minute TV show, Svetoslav Ivanov, surprised Katherine Taseva with a unique surprise. As she herself said, there is no idea who has bought the medal and the bat and has transferred the money to Ivan Todorov's account.
"Catherine, you will know your clubs if you see them somewhere," Svetoslav Ivanov asked our beautiful gymnast. And she replied, "Maybe because we put stickers before each race." "It looks like your clubs," the lady asked, then pulled out the clubs and handed them to Catherine. Our charming contestant did not hold back her tears and wept, but that was not all.
"This guy who bought your medal and your clubs is really a good guy. You will never know who he is. But he also wanted to return the medal, "Svetoslav Ivanov said, then took out the gold medal and hung it at the door of Katharine Taseva. In the place where it is placed and in the place that made us proud to listen to the Bulgarian anthem again.
"This guy wishes you with these clubs to win even dozens of gold medals. There are many athletes with medals, many athletes with titles, but Catherine is a champion with a heart, "said a message from the donor to Catherine Taseva, who could not believe what was going on.
"I want to thank this guy. Unique gesture. I wish health to him and his whole family, "said our beautiful athlete.
