Oggi è stato il giorno più bello della mia vita, ero in una bolla assoluta sulla pedana, non era rimasto niente nel serbatoio e avrei ripercorso gli ultimi 15 anni tutti di nuovo per quei 5 minuti. Non tutto va secondo i piani nello sport, ma la mia bellissima squadra ha davvero vinto una medaglia d'oro anche solo essendo qui. Con tutto quello che ci è stato offerto, siamo il primo gruppo nella storia a rappresentare l'Australia ai Giochi Olimpici. Mi sono rifiutata di pizzicarmi per tutta la settimana, non voglio svegliarmi da questo sogno. Sono sopraffatta da tutto l'amore che abbiamo ricevuto, grazie dal profondo del mio cuore. Today was the best day of my life, I had an absolute ball on the floor, nothing was left in the tank and I would go through the last 15 years all again for those 5 minutes. Not everything goes to plan in sport but my beautiful team have truly won a gold medal by even being here. With everything that has been thrown at us we are the first group in history to represent Australia at the Olympic Games. I have refused to pinch myself all week, I don’t want to wake up from this dream. I am overwhelmed by all the love we have been receiving, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Felicity White: "E da questo momento in poi... la storia dello sport australiano è stata scritta con il primo gruppo di ginnastica ritmica in assoluto a rappresentare l'Australia ai Giochi Olimpici. Sono oltremodo orgogliosa delle mie compagne di squadra e di me, e sebbene non sia la nostra migliore prestazione, essere in grado di calpestare quella pedana è un successo in sé. Attraverso tutti gli ostacoli che abbiamo affrontato insieme, allenarci nei nostri cortili e nei parchi per oltre 3 mesi l'anno scorso, non avendo gare all'estero in preparazione per i giochi e tutte le competizioni in tutta l'Australia che sono state cancellate per il 2020 ha fatto per un viaggio avventuroso , ma ne è valsa la pena, CE L'abbiamo fatta! Siamo ufficialmente olimpionici e sono orgoglioso di esserlo al fianco di queste meravigliose donne 💚💛
Grazie ai miei genitori, famiglia, amici, sorella e tutti in tutto il mondo, vicini e lontani, che hanno trovato il tempo di inviarmi messaggi, osservare le nostre routine e sostenerci. CITAZIONE And from this moment on… Australian sporting history was made as the first ever Rhythmic gymnastics group to represent Australia at an Olympic Games 🇦🇺 I am beyond proud of my team mates and I, and although not our best performance being able to step foot on that mat is an achievement in itself. Through all of the obstacles we’ve faced together, training in our backyards and at the parks for over 3 months last year, having no overseas competitions in preparation for the games and all competitions throughout Australia being cancelled for 2020 has made for an adventurous journey, but it was all so worth it, WE DID IT! We are officially Olympians and I am beyond proud to be one alongside these wonderful women 💚💛
Thank you to my parents, family, friends, sister and everyone around the world near and far who made the time to message me, watch our routines and support us. I cannot thank you all enough for the continuous love and support everyone has shown towards me during this time and I hope to get back to each and every one of you. I love you all so much
