Dire che sono deboli? Non posso dirlo. Dire che tutto è comprato? Nello specifico, non ho visto trasferimenti di tangenti. E' difficile per me presentare certi fatti ed argomenti, ma il fatto è che le nostre giurie non siano sempre eque è un dato di fatto. Non è successo solo a Rio. Da tempi immemorabili, tutti lo sanno: la ginnastica artistica, il pattinagggio di figura sono sport molto soggettivi, dove non ci sono cronometro o figure precise, tutto è nelle mani dei giudici. Uno può lavorare per una nazione, un altro supportarne un'altra, è così. Bene, se le piace la squadra e tutto, la votazione per tale squadra sarà più alta.
Sono stata ferita da un momento alle Olimpiadi. Certamente, sono molto grata a tutti i giudici che hanno apprezzato la mia esibizione, ma non sono d'accordo con questo: se gli errori sono fatti ai Giochi, allora dovrebbero essere puniti, non dovrebbe essere lasciato senza penalità. I primi tre posti alle Olimpiadi devono essere con le stesse pulite ed irreprensibili performance! Una delle medagliate di Rio non lo era (si riferisce a Kudryavtseva, che ha fatto cadere una clavetta durante l'esercizio, finendo seconda).
Stavo per toccare questo argomento. Ho sentito che nella ginnastica ritmica c'è una corruzione terribile. In aggiunta alla tua situazione, è successo anche nel 2004 quando Alina Kabaeva ha fatto cadere il nastro e Bessonova ha invece fatto una performance praticamente perfetta. Bene, come spiegarlo: hai detto di non aver visto soldi, bene, è il caso di fattore umano e cattivo giudizio?
Il nostro sistema di giudizio cambia ogni quattro anni, arrivano persone del tutto nuove e, con loro, il nuovo presidente della federazione internazionale. Allo stesso tempo, ogni quattro anni ginnaste e allenatrici credono che qualcosa cambierà, ma finora non abbiamo visto la situazione cambiare in altre direzioni. Finisce che devi essere superiore di due o tre teste sulle tue rivali, allora arriverai vicina al podio, come Bessonova o me. Se sei dello stesso livello, sarai fuori dalle prime tre.
A noi le allenatrici hanno sempre detto di combattere e lo abbiamo fatto per difendere l'onore della nazione. Allo stesso modo, Bessonova ed io siamo state capaci di battere le russe. Non ad ogni gara, ma la nostra bandiera ha sventolato su tutte. Persino al pubblico è familiare sentire suonare l'inno russo e quando suona l'ucraino od altri, per loro è una sorta di cosa esotica. Quindi battere le ragazze russe aveva un doppio valore, era come un avvenimento di fantasia.
Anche alle Olimpiadi appare il fattore corruzione, lo ammetti?
Lo ammetto, sì. Ma ancora, se la stesse russe non fossero forti, non sarebbero sui gradini più alti del podio. Solo che dietro loro c'è la nazione, questo è tutto.
Quanto pagano le ginnaste titolate per esibizioni o dimostrazioni, in media?
Le somme, ovviamente, sono molto diverse. Ci sono diverse società ed opportunità. Diciamo che spagnoli, italiani, quando sono invitata ad una masterclass ed affrontiamo l'argomento del budget, dicono: scusa, non abbiamo soldi, ci sono 500 dollari e questo è tutto. A questo rispondo: il mio obiettivo non sono i guadagni, ma venire da queste bambine che piangono di gioia, dunque facciamolo, accetto ogni condizione, verrò. Il lato commerciale nel mio caso non è il principale. Voglio insegnare alle bambine, visitare i più diversi angoli del mondo, in modo che possano vedermi, allenarmi con qualcuno. E qualcuna lo fa di lavoro, come principale guadagno ogni mese. Conosco ragazze che tengono 3 o 4 masterclasses con un introito stabile di 5mila o 10mila dollari.

From time immemorial, everyone knew: artistic gymnastics, figure skating - very subjective sports, where there is no stopwatch and accurate figures, everything is in the hands of the judges. One can work for one country, another judge can support another - it is. Well, she likes this team and everything - the ratings for this team will be higher.
I was touched by one moment at the Olympics. Of course, I am very grateful to all the judges who appreciated my performance on the pedestal, but I do not agree with this: if mistakes are made on the Games, then they should be punished for them - this should not be left unaccounted for. The first three places at the Olympics are the same clean and irreproachable performance! One of the prize-winners of Rio in rhythmic gymnastics was not such (Russian Valery Kudryavtseva, who dropped the mace during the exercise, finishing second, XSPORT.ua).

Our judging changes every four years - absolutely new people come, and with them the new president of the international federation. At the same time every four years gymnasts and coaches believe that something will change, but so far we do not see that the matter has shifted in some direction. It turns out that now you need to be two or even three heads higher than your rivals, and then you will come close to the pedestal, like Bessonova or me. If you are at the same level as competitors - you will be out of the top three.
Us coaches have always been taught to fight, and we went out to defend the honor of the country. All the same, and Bessonova, and I just managed to win the Russians. Not every competition, but our flag rose above the rest. Even the audience - for them was so familiar when playing the Russian anthem, and when playing Ukrainian or some other, for them it was a kind of exotica. So beat the Russian woman - was valued doubly, it was believed that this is from the realm of fantasy.
By the Olympics, the corruption factor appears - do you admit it?
I admit, yes. But again, if the same Russians were not strong, they would not have been on the highest steps of the pedestal. Just behind them is the country - that's all.
How much do they pay titled gymnasts for demonstration performances on average?
The amounts, of course, are very different. There are different clubs and opportunities. Let's say Spaniards, Italians, when I'm invited to a master class and we start the topic of the budget, they say: sorry, but we have no money, there are 500 dollars and that's it. To which I answer: my goal is not earnings, but to come to these children, and that they cry with happiness, so let's, I agree to any conditions - I'll come. The commercial side in my case is not the main one. I want to teach children, visit the most diverse corners of the world, so that they see me, I'm trained with someone. And someone has it as a job - the main earnings every month. I know girls who have three or four master classes - as a stable income of 5 to 10 thousand dollars.
Uhmmmm, non sono molto d'accordo. Forse in passato sì, ma ora le giurie sembrano più equilibrate soprattutto a Mondiali/Europei e poi c'è poco da fare, le russe sono su un altro pianeta, è inutile menarla a Yana per la caduta della clavetta, ha compensato con tutte le difficoltà ed i rischi che ha negli esercizi che Ganna, per quanto splendida e perfetta, non ha.
