Madeline EDWARDS / Zhao Kai PANG (CAN)

Unfortunately, Madeline sustained an ankle injury while training in late December - though we were able to train on and off through nationals and Junior Worlds, the injury persisted and began to worsen. She is now in the midst of the 3-4 month treatment and rehab plan with the guidance of several sports doctors and physiotherapists, after which it will be safe for her to be on the ice again to begin training for next year.
We are extremely disappointed to have to sit out this season, but taking this time to get treatment is the only way to ensure that Maddie’s ankle will heal properly. ZhaoKai is hard at work on the ice and Maddie can’t wait to lace up her skates and join him again!
