The beginning of the season was rough. I struggled with injuries and equipment problems. Took off a month in December but when I got back on ice, right after the first competition in 2013 – I injured myself again. The whole season seemed to be a nightmare! It was truly a tough time… but I never lost faith and didn’t give up. I believed in myself and always knew that my family and coaches are always there for me, their support was just incredible!
It was my sincere dream to finish the Pre-Olympic season like this. Many people were wondering, how could I come back so strong after a disappointing skate at 4CC in Osaka, 3 weeks before the Worlds.
- It wasn’t me – I was joking.
But, to be honest, we have done a HUGE work before the World Championships. I completely changed my daily plan, schedule, training system, diet and practically – life. My on-ice trainings became longer and more intense. I created my own dry-land workout program and followed it every day, finishing practices at 9 or sometimes 10 PM. And then it was a torture to fall asleep – as the only thing I could see in my bed was The World Championships.
Looking back now, I still can’t believe it all happened and this season is over. And it’s over the way I dreamt… I had a great but tough experience and don’t want to make same mistakes any more. Worlds was a fairytale but it’s time to focus on the next season.
Once again, thank you for your support and all of the messages!!! I’ve never received so many and can’t even find time to read them all right now… Your attention is very important and I am grateful to all of you for your kind words.
Take care and always believe in yourself! Remember that you can always go beyond expectations.

Già, se lo merita davvero...
da come parla del suo ultimo periodo di allenamento sembrava diventata la sua ossessione.
E a leggere questo messaggio mi è venuto in mente che fosse finalmente "guarito".
Chissà se la prossima stagione farà altrettanto...
Denis può reggere questo ritmo di allenamento (a differenza di Yuzuru Hanyu e altri) perchè non si è mai infortunato ... almeno non ne ho ricevuto notizia.
In tanti devono sempre dosare le energie, altrimenti (come Hanyu) sono a rischio di spaccarsi qualcosa per affaticamento eccessivo (muscoli, tendini). -

L'avventura mondiale maschile dal lato giapponese

Comunque, medaglie a parte, hanno piazzato tre pattinatori entro i primi 8, e con le prestazioni che abbiamo avuto modo di vedere. Considerando che dovremmo scalare tutta la classifica maschile avanti di uno per le ragioni che conosciamo, possono considerarsi soddisfatti. ^^
A proposito di video giapponesi... ne ricordo uno BELLISSIMO più o meno di questo genere, che raccontava le vicende della Arakawa nel 2006. Ne sapete niente?
PS: che voce grave che ha Hanyu. Mi aspettavo toni più acuti... sarà per quel fisico androgino.. -

E' semplicemente un fisico che non riesce a mantenere il grasso. Brucia subito. (per sua sventura, perchè poi appena si ammala è a rischio salute)

Decisamente non ho alcun "solito pregiudizio" su Hanyu.
Esattamente come Shoma Uno, il suo corpo e il suo viso dimostrano un'età inferiore a quella che ha, quindi è del tutto naturale aspettarsi un tono di voce meno grave e maturo.. -

Shoma però è anche molto basso. Mi dispiace tantissimo per lui perchè la giuria lo penalizza tantissimo...

Come Reynolds, ma a questi mondiali l'hanno fatto per il suo libero in modo che gli fosse impossibile superare Chan... già, ogni salto un rewiev, giuria che voleva avere ogni occasione per penalizzarlo.
Comunque Kevin è quinto! Che gran risultato per lui! Ha battuto Takahashi!. -
