Paradossalmente quando era junior muoveva anche meglio le braccia mi riferisco al fatto che da senior ha spesso ha il vizio di non usare la mano sinistra e tenerla sulla coscia per la maggior parte del programma.
La ricerca dei quadrupli per me ha un po' ucciso la progressione artistica che ci si sarebbe aspettati con queste premesse (e lo dico da fan che si vedeva i suoi video quasi tutti i giorni LOL), però capisco che un atleta prima di tutto vuole vincere. Comunque da quando sta con Lambiel vedo un'attenzione rinnovata da questo punto di vista.

Perché, non è stata uccisa in tutto il settore maschile e pure femminile? Vogliamo parlare di Nathan Chen che per essere "artistico" faceva i balletti da fermo, o del nuovo fenomeno Malinin che non sappiamo ancora come andrà a finire?
Almeno Shoma era dotato di suo e mostra sempre qualcosa di piacevole anziché battere le mani a tempo di musica per suscitare urletti dalle fangirl.
“For the past year or two I was able to perform exactly as I trained, at every competition and I was satisfied with that and I didn’t really expect anything more,” Uno said. “With the fall in the training, I was in a pretty bad shape for about the past 10 days and I thought about what I could do in my performance.
“I really wanted to make sure what I needed to do. Going into this with a calm mind was not the answer, so I really pushed myself to be motivated and in a fighting mode. With the strong mind I was able to deliver today so I was more happy than usual.”
Shoma uno si conferma CAMPIONE MONDIALE per la seconda volta consecutiva dandoci prova di saper gareggiare anche con un infortunio alla caviglia e con la pressione di pattinare in casa, davanti al pubblico che non vuole deludere. Shoma conta ora 4 medaglie mondiali: 2 argenti, 2 ori. E due medaglie Olimpiche (argento e bronzo). Cosa gli si può chiedere di più?
Ecco il suo free, pattinato con una calma che io ho definito... snervante. Mentre il mondo era lì a struggersi per lui e a tremare per il risultato, lui ha portato un elemento alla volta, concentrato, senza mai correre e facendo esattamente ciò che fa di solito. Omedetou, Uno-senshou!
Due momenti kawaii da ricordare: il fatto che Lambiel sembri più felice di lui sul Kiss&Cry e prima di questo crollare sul ghiaccio appena finito il programma.
E conferma anche di non essere bravo a mettersi in mostra durante la conferenza stampa è stato chiesto agli atleti di muoversi un po' e mettersi in posa... Shoma ha scelto praticamente di sotterrarsi, costringendo i colleghi ad accovacciarsi accanto a lui. Un caso estremo di modestia giapponese.
In conferenza stampa si è dichiarato felice di esser riuscito a pattinare meglio di quanto si aspettasse, sia meglio di quanto gli è riuscito in allenamento che rispetto alle ultime due settimane, in cui si è fatto male alla caviglia ben 3 volte; ha aggiunto che non è stato un libero perfetto, ma che nelle attuali condizioni non poteva fare di meglio. ... e si scusa pure per aver fatto preoccupare gli altri.

Chissà se Shoma vorrà tentare l'impresa di vincere 3 titoli Mondiali. Pochi pattinatori sono riusciti in questa collezioni di ori e non Hanyu (assurdamente!). Tra quelli che ci sono riusciti (post 2000): Plushenko, Chan, Chen.
